Going beyond techical skills to delvelop narrative vision. This is a shooting/discussion class. Students should bring cell phone, tripod, laptop.
Topics covered:
using mood, texture, and compostiion to convey emotion
introduction to photo essays
creative prompts and conceptual exploration
Class may meet on local trails, farms, or mountain viewpoints near Tryon.
Directions to studio:
Please note that this program takes place at TACS’s satellite photo studio space at 112 N. Trade Street Ste 4A in Tryon. Students may park in the lot to the left of the building, then enter through the front entrance of the Shops of Tryon on Trade Street. Once inside, walk to the back and left to find Suite 4A.
