October 18-24 EVENTS Quick View:  Here’s a look at what’s happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from October 18-24, 2023. Here’s your First Peak fall color update, and a reminder to plan your mountain getaway. In Columbus, we are seeing red colors developing along the roads and forest edges. Colors are further along right now in the Saluda area and will be developing along the Blue Ridge Escarpment into November. August 30 – September 5 EVENTS Quick View:  Here’s a look at what’s happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from August 30 – September 5, 2023. Come spend the long weekend with us. It’s time for great music to arrive at the First Peak for the Earl Scruggs Music Festival. You can experience the fun with Thursday night’s free kickoff party for the festival at Tryon International Equestrian Center.  Then Friday-Sunday features dozens of amazing musicians including Emmylou Harris, Del McCoury Band and more from around the country plus favorites from closer to home.
