Stormy weather can create spectacular views in the mountains. We’re hoping the expected weather is all bark and no bite. The forecast seems to be softening its expectations for Friday and Saturday morning, so a mountain drive might offer a different peek at our ridges.
If you don’t mind the rain, check out this one-woman show at the Tryon Fine Arts Center on Friday evening – “No Fear and Blues Long Gone: Nina Simone” staring Yolanda Rabun. This play imagines Tryon-native Nina Simone sharing songs and stories.
