We are open for visitors and can’t wait to see you. Your day trips and overnight stays are so important for our local businesses right now. Check out our events calendar and plan a trip. This week’s events include some of our favorites – Friday Sunset Celebration at Parker-Binns Vineyard, Saturday Night Lights at Tryon International Equestrian Center, live music, some specialty food events, and more. Our peak fall color is starting now in the higher elevations and will cascade down to the lower elevations through early November, ensuring that we have weeks of peak fall color. Thanks to the amazing crews and agencies working around the clock, the First Peak is rebounding faster than we imagined. We hope that is true for you too. We want to welcome you to visit the First Peak soon – your day trips and overnight stays are so important for our local businesses, especially during the fall season. Our peak fall color will start mid-October in the higher elevations and then cascade down to the lower elevations around Halloween, ensuring that we have weeks of peak fall color. Please plan to visit us for a weekend getaway – you are an important part of our recovery! We are excited to say that we have many events on the calendar this week – make some time for yourselves. Enjoy free community concerts in Saluda and Tryon. The Saturday Night Lights festival returns to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (which is also serving as a central site for local food and clothing distributions, and more – we are so grateful). The wineries and creamery are open for tastings and beautiful views sure to ease the stress we’ve experienced.
